About Me

Hi, Im Arooj !

I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist. I've completed my Diploma (DSFH) from the prestigious CPHT in 2023.

My background studies are in BA hons & MA in Human Resource Management. I have always been passionate about helping people as I have a very caring nature so I trained to be a Dental Nurse and I believe that a combination of my life and work experiences has given me invaluable skills to provide support to individuals that makes a real difference in their lives.

I have always been fascinated about the amazing power of the human mind and how it can affect the body. I love helping people to achieve their goals with hypnosis. Its a collaborative process where we work together to identify your goals and I will help you to make those positive and lasting changes that would help you to gain a better quality of life.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:-

Commitment

Commitment from the client is highly important in our therapy sessions because therapy is dependent on both the therapist & the client's commitment and the client has to engage within the process to see good results.

As a client you must engage with the process and complete any tasks given and listen to the MP3 provided after the initial consultation, as this would help you in our sessions. However; please note that success isn't guaranteed as results vary from individual to individual.

Therapy sessions & Fees

Each therapy sessions lasts from 50 minutes up to an hour and please refer to the Home page which shows you accurate fees. Fees must be paid using online credit or debit card or you can pay via bank transfer.

Fees are also subject to change from time to time but any changes would be discussed and agreed between us.

Also, by undertaking a course of therapy sessions, client must accept that I cannot guarantee success or therapeutic outcome however, fees are payable in consideration of my time and expertise ; regardless of the outcome.

Discounts are sometimes available for students/ pensioners or if you are on benefits just drop me a message to get more information.

Appointments

You must commit to the scheduled appointments. Being consistent with your therapy journey would show that you are committed with the on-going therapy.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy is at least 24 hours prior to the session. You can cancel using: email, text or by phone. If any appointment is cancelled less than the notice period than full session fees is applicable.

I reserve the right to cancel an appointment at my sole discretion, however; will do so only in the most exceptional circumstances and as much notice as possible will be given. I cannot accept liability for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.

However; If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to make a full session available, but this often depends on appointments subsequent to your booking and so cannot be guaranteed. If your session needs to be curtailed due to your late arrival then the session fee remains payable in full.

Privacy

Making and keeping records is an essential part of care.

Records are kept for everyone who I provide therapy for and for also those people who just make an enquiry about services. I will also record information that is essential for your care both on paper and on electronic devices.

I will protect your personal information by reasonable security safeguard against loss, theft, unauthorised access & disclosure and at no time your information or email address would be sold nor would by distributed to a third party.

Confidentiality

At all times I would keep any information provided about you confidential and would only use it for the purpose for which it was given.

I will only use information about you to continue your care or for purposes where you have given specific permission to use it. Exceptions to this include:-

* If you reveal you intend to harm yourself or another person.

* If you reveal that a child is being or is in danger of abuse.

* If I am compelled to reveal information by a court order.

* If you reveal you are a member of a terrorist organisation – this must be reported to the police.

* If you reveal you are laundering money from the sale of drugs – this must be reported to the police.

In order to ensure continued best practice; I receive regular clinical supervision of my work with clients. During supervision it may be necessary to review your therapy; but any reference that could allow you to be identified is removed.

Standards of Behaviour

I undertake to provide therapy for you with due respect and not to abuse the trust you put in me.

I will use best practice at all times for our mutual interest. In return, you undertake not to harm yourself, or any other person, including me, or any property belonging either to me or any other person.

You agree not to come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications prescribed by your doctor. If you do come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs or demonstrate violent/abusive behaviour, I reserve the right to cancel the session and refuse any further therapy sessions.
